1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Research Organizer browser extension, website and related subscription services. By installing or using Research Organizer, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. The service
Research Organizer lets you save selected text and web pages, add notes and favorites, organize items into collections and reopen source pages. Features and limits may vary by plan. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device, browser profile and any content you save.
3. Plans and billing
Research Organizer offers a free plan and optional paid plans. Current prices, features and billing periods are displayed before purchase. You must explicitly confirm the selected plan and monthly or annual billing period before checkout. Paid subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy and renew automatically for the chosen billing period unless cancelled.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may manage or cancel a paid subscription through the subscription management options provided with your purchase. Cancellation stops future renewal; access may continue through the paid period. Refund requests are handled according to applicable law and the checkout provider’s terms. Contact support if you need help locating your subscription.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the service only lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, bypass plan limits or security controls, distribute malicious code, reverse engineer protected service components where prohibited, or use Research Organizer to violate the rights of others. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and use third-party content.
6. Ownership
You retain rights to your notes and other original content. Research Organizer and its software, design and branding remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Research Organizer available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service. If a material change affects a paid plan, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Research Organizer is not responsible for third-party websites or for changes to source pages. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, profits or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using Research Organizer at any time. We may restrict access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse or security risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
